BSides Birmingham

During DC4420 I had the pleasure of meeting Lena Yu who runs the Malware Village at Defcon. She told me about BSides Birmingham and mentioned I should give it a visit for the first event, very glad I did!

The student Union is a lovely venue for the event, lost of space and a bar! The talks were not as technical as I like but I was very glad to see talks on mental health and problems in the industry were chozen. The Malware Village was the highlight for me getting to sit with other cyber security peeps and work through reverse engineering a “snake keylogger” sample.
